About Us

We started Hummus House with the idea that fresh, authentic, Mediterranean food can be fast, healthy and light on your wallet. Come in and create your own pita any way you want. We never charge for cheese or extra toppings and every pita comes with your choice of one of our six flavors of homemade hummus. Fresh ingredients, local purchasing, and original recipes are what Hummus House is all about.

We use only fresh, never frozen, 100% all natural chicken. We marinate our chicken overnight in our special 7 Mediterranean spice recipe. Vegan? Try our homemade falafel that's made to order in our 100% vegan fryer.		Our roasted garlic hummus is made by lightly roasting fresh garlic cloves in a small amount of oil. All of our other flavors of hummus do not contain any oil. This gives our hummus 1/3 fewer calories than store-bought hummus.
We think food tastes best when it's made by hand from scratch. Our six flavors of hummus, falafel, tahini, tabouleh and pita chips are made by us with love.		Our pita bread is fresh baked and preservative free. Best of all we buy it locally. When we shop small and buy local we all help support our community.
